We just returned home from Duck, North Carolina. The ocean was freezing. We could not even go in the water. We traveled 600 miles to enjoy the usually warm water. We know you can't control mother nature, but what a disappointment!!

Having a pool can definitely make a big difference when the water is this cool. The westerly wind brings us the warm temperatures but unfortunately, drives off the cold water.

Hopefully the breeze will slacken and the warm water will return!
